In Mexico, is the term "consejo de administracion" of a corporation any different from the "directorio"?

I am translating a Mexican document that refers to the "Presidente del Consejo de Administración" of an S.A. de C.V company, and I assume that this is simply the Chariman of the Board. Or is this "consejo" something different in Mexico? Is there a difference in the way S.A. de C.V. companies are organized?
