Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s)
Spanish term or phrase: cuenta en participación
This contract has been drawn up for investing a sum of money in a solar farm project. Here is the whole sentence:

Normally I would translate "cuenta en participación" as "joint account" (and there are two people investing the money here), but as they are the "Partícipe" or stakeholder in the project, shouldn't the translation of "cuenta en participación" indicate that it is an investment or stake in a project? What is this type of account called, in your experience? I want to be careful with uses of "share account" or "stakeholder account" and not to use them inaccurately. Or should it just be "joint account"? Many thanks for your help!
