Since this deals with a contract, it might mean the binding nature of any notice

Henry Saint Dahl's Diccionario jurídico

"efecto vinculante del contrato" binding character of contract"

Of course here it only state "efectos" - however, since it has to do with contracts, it might be referring to the consequences, or results that are obligatory in nature.
