Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / Special Power of Attorney
Spanish term or phrase: según interviene, la expido en dos folios correlativos /Doy fe.
I am working on a Special Power of Attorney from Spain into UK English.

I am having some trouble pulling this entire paragraph together. I know what it means but I am unable to find a suitable way of saying it.

I realize too that one rendering of “Doy fe” is “I attest”/attest, but at the end of the document would it be correct to render it as “IN WITNESS WHEREOF”?

Thank you all so much for your help.

Original Spanish (Spain):

** DOY FE. **

My attempt (UK English):

This is a true and exact COPY of the original where the entry has been made, and at the request of the appearing party, *** and in accordance with her actions, I have issued two consecutively numbered folios of notarial paper, Series 6J, number 5422969 and its subsequent number.

Marbella, on the day of granting of this instrument. ** IN WITNESS WHEREOF.**

Use "sheet" for "folio"

Taña: "This is a true and exact copy of the original, upon which I have made a note about this copy, and at the request of the appearing party, in the capacity in which she appears, I issue it on two sheets of notarial paper, series 6J, numbers 5422969 and the next consecutive number. In Marbella, on the date of granting of the instrument. I CERTIFY."

I don't think "In witness whereof" works here because it's a mere introduction to an action "In witness whereof, I hereby sign ..."
The bit about consecutive numbers looks silly when there are only 2 pages but it is a standard formula for not listing all the serial numbers of all the pages.

Notes to answerer
Asker: John. Thank you for your clarification. I need some additional help, please. In keeping with your suggestion, I am now coming up with the following "This is a true and exact COPY of the original where the entry has been made and at the request of the appearing party and in the capacity in which she appears, I issue on two sheets of notarial paper, Series 6J, commencing with number 5422969 and numbered consecutively." I don´t know if I have this quite right? Marbella, on the day of granting of this instrument. IN WITNESS WHEREOF. ― Is In Witness Whereof, the rendering for Doy Fe at the end of a Power of Attorney. I know that usually, it is ATTEST or I attest. Thanks again.

Asker: John thanks. In keeping with your further suggestion "This is a true and exact COPY of the original upon which I have made a note about this copy and at the request of the appearing party, in the capacity in which she appears, I issue it on two sheets of notarial paper, Series 6J, numbered 5422969 and the next consecutive number." Okay now? Un abrazo John.

Asker: "number" instead of "numbered".
