X NO GARANTIZA QUE EL SOFTWARE DE X Y EL MANTENIMIENTO DE X SATISFAGAN SUS NECESIDADES O QUE LA UTILIZACIÓN DEL SOFTWARE DE X NO SUFRAN INTERRUPCIONES O NO TENGAN ERRORES. ALGUNOS ESTADOS O JURISDICCIONES NO PERMITEN LA EXCLUSIÓN DE DETERMINADAS GARANTÍAS EXPRESAS O IMPLÍCITAS, POR LO QUE ES POSIBLE QUE LA ANTERIOR EXLUSIÓN RESULTE DE APLICACIÓN AL LICENCIATARIO.

EN CASO DE QUE LA LEY APLICABLE LO PERMITA: A) DICHAS GARANTÍAS ESTARÁN LIMITADAS EN CUANTO A SU DURACIÓN AL PERÍODO DE GARANTÍA ESPECIFICADO EN RELACIÓN CON EL SOFTWARE DE X CORRESPONDIENTE; B)**** LA SOLUCIÓN A LOS PROBLEMAS DERIVADOS DEL INCUMPLIMIENTO DE LA GARANTIA SE LIMITAR*******. DESPUÉS DE DICHO PERÍODO NO EXISTE GARANTÍA DE NINGÚN TIPO. ALGUNOS ESTADOS O JURISDICCIONES NO PERMITEN LA EXCLUSIÓN DE DETERMINADAS GARANTÍAS EXPRESAS O IMPLÍCITAS, POR LO QUE ES POSIBLE QUE LA ANTERIOR EXCLUSIÓN NO LE RESULTE DE APLICACIÓN AL LICENCIATARIO.

There is obviously a typo or error in this sentence but I can't figure out what the author meant to say.... any help with deciphering the meaning would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance..

agree  José Luis Molnar: I think this is a "cut ans paste" error, the sentnece seems to be incomplete
13 mins
  -> Thanks, José

agree  Gert Sass (M.A.): also w/ José: limitará should be followed by said period; possibly the author wanted to avoid a repetition, since "DICHO PERÍODO" is again used in the following sentence
1 hr
  -> Yes, thanks Gert.

agree  Gabriella Bertelmann: agree
2 hrs
  -> Thanks, Gabriella
