I am working on a 38-page document describing the process for preparing a pharmaceutical. I do not know the country of origin, but it is for the US. After 25 pages or so on the substance, and various related experiments, there is a new section entitled REVINDICACIONES. It is basically a detailed rehash of the exact same steps, numbered, with just a bit less information, as the section is 8 whole pages!! I might have considered "review", except for the fact that the last page contains a brief "resumen", so I can't use it. The word comes up repeatedly throughout this last section, in repeated phrases like "El proceso según la revindicación 1, en donde la primera etapa consiste en...". None of the dictionary meanings I can find seem to fit at all. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
