Spanish to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright | | Spanish term or phrase: se entiende realizada para todo el mundo y hasta | I'm in a bit of a knot with this sentence - it doesn´t seem to read right to me with the two 'Ys' in there. What I have so far is:
"The transfer of these intellectual property rights is generally understood to be effective even after these enter the public domain they shall remain in force even when this Contract has terminated for whatever reason."
Would appreciate some help in clarifying the sentence :) For the UK. Thanks.
DERECHOS DE PROPIEDAD INDUSTRIAL
Asimismo, EL DIRECTOR reconoce a LA PRODUCTORA como titular exclusivo de los derechos de marca.
La cesión de los citados derechos de Propiedad Intelectual **se entiende realizada para todo el mundo y hasta** el paso de los mismos a dominio público y seguirá vigente aún resuelto el presente contrato por cualquier causa. |
| | | shall be understood to be effective worldwide and until | Explanation: Yo entiendo que se trata de un lenguaje de contrato, por lo tanto 'shall be'. Lo de 'todo el mundo' entiende como referencia espacial/geográfica, o sea a la extensión territorial de esta cesión; lo de 'hasta' es temporal/cronológico.
