Spanish term or phrase: acciones reales
De acuerdo con el articulo 62...en los juicios en que se ejerciten acciones reales sera Juez competente el del lugar en que este sita la cosa litigiosa"

I'm having some difficulty deciding on the exact meaning of "acciones reales" in this phrase. Is it simply "real legal actions/lawsuits"? If so, why "real"? Or perhaps it is being used in the sense of "actual"

For your information, the case involved is one where somebody is trying to reclaim rightful ownership of some property.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks a lot, Sheila.

This did cross my mind, in view of the case involved, but I couldn't find such a definition in any of my dictionaries or any of those on the Internet.

Thanks again
