enforcement - see below Explanation: I would be inclined to stick with "enforcement", as this is the term I have more often seen. With regard to ejecutado and ejecutante, would it be possible to expand? - "the party against whom the order is being enforced" "the party enforcing the order". This is of course much wordier, and if the sentence is already long (very likely!) it may not work, but I have sometimes found it is the only way. Suerte! |

peer agreement (net): +1(vocab provided below) Explanation: I have previously worked with the vocab of Spanish civil procedure and believe these are possible equivalents despacho de ejecución = enforcement; execution despachar ejecución = to order enforcement/execution auto despachando ejecución = enforcement order ejecutante = execution creditor; party initiating enforcement proceedings ejecutado = execution debtor; party against whom enforcement is sought Despite what may appear in some sources, I personally have never seen "executor" and "executed" used in English-language sources in this context. "Executor" as a noun has very different meanings in legal English ("albacea", for example) and as far as I know "executed" is an verb/adjective, not a noun (an executed contract; a convict executed on death row). Nevertheless, if you do see "executor" and "executed" used in reliable English-language sources (court websites, for example) with the meaning of "ejecutante" and "ejecutado" in THIS context, I would appreciate your sharing them with me.
