Thanks to you both for this - I'll get in contact with the moderators as you suggest. The variation I used in the end for the translation was disclosure of evidence because it made the most sense.

I agree with Liz. What is important is the glossary entry which serves the entire ProZ community. What I suggest is that you write one of the Moderators (listing of persons at the end) and request their help in editing the glossary entry, assuming of course, you intended to use "discovery of evidence for the case" or some such related wording. HTH!

Did you mean to choose "preparatory inquiry/judicial or criminal investigation" for the glossary entry, despite all the votes for my contribution and comments on my answer for "discovery of evidence for the case".

You even put "thanks for this Liz", but this comment was made to Emiliano Pantoja.

I am confused.
