Spanish term or phrase: manda

This phrase appears in the answer by an insurance company in Mexico to a lawsuit relating to a traffic accident that resulted in death. My doubt is whether "manda" is used in the sense of "will" (testamento) or if it could be a typo, and should be "la manera y la forma".

meant to say earlier that you're probably right and that this was a typo for "manera" but anyway, "manner and form" really is a common term in the context of accident reports

The demise and the form in which the accident occurred.
Curiously enough I found it in a Portuguse-English dictionary!
Probably from mandar (sending to the other world :) ).

if it is a typo for demanda than the English translation could be "claim".
