SENTENCIA EJECUTORIADA
Es la sentencia que ya no admite recurso judicial alguno, y se puede exigir el cumplimiento incidental o iniciar demanda ejecutiva en su caso. Se dice que la causa está "ejecutoriada", cuando ya han terminado todos los trámites legales y produce además el efecto jurídico de cosa juzgada.

Not very clear to me if 1. for Canadian consumption and 2. a divorce decree or is an *ancillary relief order* (containing arrangements for children) handed down by the Tribunal de Protección de Niños, Niñas y Adolescentes.

For UK enforcement , the word 'binding' must - according to the Supreme Court Rules - be used.

Otherwise, the spectre of professional negligence will hang over the unfortunate translator or interpreter, prayfully with a professional indemnity policy,

Otherwise, CanE and UK/irish lawyers and courts wouldn't keep on being so insistent on inclusion of the word binding in translations:

-> Indeed. But, in my 'limited' experience, UK lawyers and the courts nonetheless want to see the word 'binding' in there.

Jennifer Levey: You (yet again...) overlook the fact that Asker is translating concepts from the ST jurisdiction, and must reflect that jurisdiction's rules, not those of an unspecified target jursdiction which may not even have an equivalent concept.

-> Yes. You're right. But, in practice, it may be crucial for US/UK recognition and enforcement purposes to add the word 'binding' that lawyers & courts - aware of the literal ST meaning - insist on for clients' benefit. NB the prof. neg. and ins. points.
