Hola. N.I.E.: Número de Identificación de Extranjeros. It's the same as the DNI (National Identity Document) but for foreigners, consisting on the letter X plus seven numbers, a hyphen and another letter. Life as it is down here mate, you almost need a card to use a toilet... Cheers :-)
