-> absolutely - I stand by the translation. It comes directly from Tom West's Legal Dictionary and really makes sense. "notoriedad" means "common knowledge" "acta" is the notary's recording of facts "declaración" is "acknoledgment"

disagree  Sergio Ortiz Eirín: The only result on Google for "common knowledge in the acknowledgment" is this page, which is never a good sign.

neutral  Michael Powers (PhD): No, not complete. "Deed" can replace "Notary's" if you will, but "notoriedad" means "common knowledge" and this is missing in your translation. The heirs' declaration is their "acknowledgement." The main error is the omission of "common knowledge."

"Statutory Declaration of Heirs" or "Draft Record of Succession"

Explanation:
the EU translates "acta de notoriedad" as "statutory declaration". See https://e-justice.europa.eu/166/ES/succession?FRANCE&member=... and its English equivalent. Another possible translation is "draft record of succession", as per https://curia.europa.eu/juris/document/document.jsf?text=&do...
