Hello all,
I need some help translating the following expression.
Muy bien, que va, estupendo.
This is a reply to the question "How are you getting on in your new job?
I agree with Beatriz that usually the translation of "qué va" would be "no way" or something equivalent. I attempted to capture this in the context of the sentence by translating it, "I mean" as a way to indicate that the first part of the answer, "very well" really was not strong enough. I believe anademahomar did the same with "actually".
"¡Qué va!" is a negative interjection meaning "Come on!" or "No way!"
It doesn't seem to make sense in this context.
I wonder if it's a typo and should read, "Muy bien, me va estupendo"
