"...In general terms, our staff will be responsible for its sale by exhibiting it properly and assisting the customers".
Muchas gracias |
| | | English translation:our staff will be responsible for their sale, duly displaying them and making sales to customers. | Explanation: Let's get it right shall we. Despite the bad Spanish 'lo' it refers to the products.

We are not talking of merchandising here but of the products. You don't sell the merchandising you sell the products. I'm afraid you have misunderstood the original here.

"Definition of merchandising: The activity of promoting the sale of goods at retail. Merchandising activities may include display techniques, free samples, ..."
As you can see from this definition, merchandising is not referred to here but the products.

Also your 'making deals' is not right here - if I am selling a band's T-shirts, I don't make deals, I just sell them.

On reflection, I see that you are confusing 'merchandising' with 'merchandise', which is an easy mistake to make.

I prefer just 'making sales' - What these people do is presumably set up a stall and provide staff to display and sell the merchandising products (T-shirts etc. of the band, I would guess). |

Asker: Thanks a lot FVS, but merchandising in Spanish is singular, it has no sense in plural. is it plural in English?
Asker: yeah, thanks a lot FVS :)
Asker: so "completing customer transactions" is good?
Asker: yeah, I've realized :) thanks

10 mins confidence: peer agreement (net): +1 our staff will take care of sales, displaying your merchandising products attractively
Explanation: Una propuesta. ¡Suerte!

The band manager realized they needed to improve their merchandising'. Son mis dos centavitos, de todos modos...

Asker: gracias Pablo :)
