Spanish term or phrase: salirse escaldado
Hello,
What would be a good translation for "se sale escaldado".

The speaker is a street vendor selling goods at a reduced price. He says that whoever doesn't want to buy the goods, se sale escaldado.
Thanks

will (really) be missing out
Explanation:

I think it derives from meaning of "escaldado" - "to learn one's lesson" (from Oxford Spanish), meaning that whoever doesn't buy the products will really "learn their lesson" when they realise what they've missed out on...
