I know how you all love a challenge...

"La Nube no es algo etéreo, no es una bruma"

It's talking about the importance of cloud computing in today's society. The paragraph before lists how companies have benefited from cloud computing, and the paragraph after talks about what life would be like if cloud computing wasn't available to the masses.

The Cloud is neither ethereal nor nebulous
Explanation:
What cloud computing really means
The next big trend sounds nebulous, but it's not so fuzzy when you view the value proposition from the perspective of IT professionals

The cloud isn't something ethereal; neither is it a puff of smoke.*

Explanation:
In this kind of text, I'd go for the essence of the message. The other route for 'no es una bruma' would be something like 'nor is it a mysterious fog'.

agree  Taña Dalglish: Good idea. I also thought of "no longer mistifying". http://download.iomega.com/com/launchkit/px4300r/personalclo... (here is speaks of Cloud computing coming down to earth). Have a good weekend. Abrazos.

-> Thanks for the great doc, Taña. It uses not an ethereal "concept" which is a nice way of putting to if "something" seemed grating.

The Cloud is neither fleeting nor hazy

Explanation:
An alternative taking into account that I did not know what “etéreo” meant without looking it up and I “may” not be the only one.

"Otherworldly" could also convey what "The Cloud" is not.

Cheers!

The Cloud doesn't float in the ether, it's not a mist

Explanation:
Good point by rich about 'ethereal'... but I think the word 'ether' is now quite familiar to English speakers, and my suggestion using 'float' helps reinforce the meaning. I also think 'mist' works in this case as a direct translation of 'bruma'.
