Livestock / Animal Husbandry / EU projects | | Spanish term or phrase: violativo | This is from a work on detection limits for antibiotic resdues in milk. The problem is they have had some bad feedback from reviewers on the use of "false positive" results, and so appear to be using "falsos violativos" instead. My Spanish dictionaries do not include the term ("violatorio", yes) and it's only present on Google on about 20 odd pages. The context is:
"... permite detectar residuos de penicilina "G" en leche a un nivel similar al Límites Máximo de Residuo establecido por la Unión Europea, mientras que las demás condiciones operativas producen límites de detección inferiores, acompañado de un incremento de resultados *"falsos violativos"*
