Spanish term or phrase: Tiempo muerto
When a machine, an equipment or a device is not working we can say it is generating a "tiempo muerto". The number of "tiempos muertos" in a certain period of time (for example: 1 month) generate a manufacturing indicator about how much time the equipment has been stopped.
Similar it occurs in a productive process or with workers.
