a small bay with placid waters Explanation: sound very much like the Costa Brava to me, where I spent many a summer in and around various Calas. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 mins (2006-10-26 22:57:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- PS: although a cala is usually a small bay, surrounded by hills, you and/or the hotel may wish to skip the "small" .... for "advertising purposes" |

a fishing ground next to calm water Explanation: Just a suggestion... good luck! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 43 mins (2006-10-26 23:27:37 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Thank you for your comment... but in my opinion (and the opinion of several dictionaries), a "cala" is a fishing ground, and not particularly a "bay" as you said. http://www.diccionarios.com/consultas.php cala 1nombre femenino ensenada cove, creek 2nombre femenino paraje para pescar fishing ground |
