Spanish term or phrase: El valor de la edad
This refers to the value that comes with age...experience, knowledge, etc. However I think that merely saying "the value of age" doesn't emphasise enough the fact that we are talking about an older age. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

To show your leadership savvy around more experienced workers, it is critical to realize that older workers sometimes view younger colleagues through jaded eyes. Many older workers believe that **with age comes experience** and ability. Don't hold that attitude against them.

REGARDLESS of age, a person with the right skill sets, attitude and a passion for what they do every day for a living is an invaluable asset to an organisation. Of course, **with age comes experience**.
Given this, and the growing demand for better work-life quality, a change in employer mindset on older candidates is inevitable. Reviewing existing practices relating to work arrangements or redesigning job scopes are just some of the issues employers will have to address.

Many of the more advanced counsellor training courses have a lower age limit of either 21 or even 25 years of age. This is because counselling is one of the few professions in which being older is positively beneficial because **with age comes experience** and greater life skills.
