agree  neilmac: Although partly "neutral" - this could be misleading as "ferrocarril" is a railway and I don't think "pin to an airplane" is common parlance outside of USA/Canada. See discussion entry above.

Explanation:
Just another possibility; the idea is to cover a broad range of products, and very often in American English we offer alphabetical ranges of possibilities as much as (or maybe even more so, in my experience) size ranges.

Explanation:
Based on the number of google hits, this seems to be much more commonly used than the option provided with the "airplane".
Anyway, I'm just offering it as an alternative.

And the first thing that spring to mind was "pin".
I also thought about "from a pin to an elephant".
I think I must have heard or seen that somewhere anyway.
