Spanish term or phrase: relacionar (matemáticamente)
Hi, I'd appreciate your help with this term.

Context is:

Thanks :)

Explanation:
You need different translations for each occurrence of the word.

For the first,
cuya relación con la precipitación máxima diaria se relaciona habitualmente mediante el coeficiente 1,13
I would simply say
"W'hich is normally 1.13 times the maximum daily rainfall."

For the second,
una vez relacionados estos índices con los parámetros del modelo,
I would translate 'relacionados" as "compared".

agree  DLyons: But could it also be "normally is the maximum daily rainfall DIVIDED BY 1.13" ?
16 hrs
-> Yes, I suppose it could be - the Spanish is ambiguous. I'd put a translators's note.
