Situación en la cual el volumen total de las pozas está por encima del límite de la tormenta de 100 años en 24 horas y su incremento es progresivo, se considera que los volúmenes de poza se incrementan rápidamente.

3.8 Situación de emergencia.
Situación mayor que la situación crítica, existe una alta probabilidad de rebose de las pozas hacia Medio Ambiente.

despues de pasar por el 'buffer pond' el agua tiene basicamente solo dos salidas: o sale por el outflow box or si se rebasa del buffer pond, cae al (concrete) spillway.
