Spanish term or phrase: regleta del punto de estrella
From the same manual as my previous question, on door assembly. this is from the same sentence as before. I know that a 'regleta' is a terminal strip, and a 'regleta estrella' seems to be a delta terminal strip. But I'm getting no hits for this 'punto de estrella' thing. Any ideas? Or is it simply another way of saying 'delta terminal strip'? All help much appreciated.

star point terminal (strip)
Explanation:
I think you're getting confused between star and delta.

We'd need to see a circuit diagram to be sure, but it is likely that there's three-phase rectifier supplying the brake current (fed from a delta-connected supply, as mentioned in your previous question), and the other side of the brake system will be connected to a star point.

This, again, fits the context and diagrams I have seen very well. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me. :)

Notes to answerer
Asker: Oh, I'm most certainly getting confused between stars and deltas! Your explanation is definitely going to help. I'm off to study the diagrams again (it's double-dutch for literature graduates! I'm trying so hard!) Thanks for your help, especially on a Saturday :)
