Tech/Engineering - Mechanics / Mech Engineering / wire drawing
Spanish term or phrase: cuba de entrada
This is from a Spanish manual about a machine used to clean wire. The client hasn't specified yet, but I believe they want UK English.

I have seen "cuba" translated as vat and tank. I'm having a hard time with the "entrada" and "salida" part of this text. I understand it means where the wire is fed into and where it comes out at the end of the process, but what would be the correct term for this in English? Has anyone ever seen this before? Thank you in advance.

entry chamber
Explanation:
"Wire entering the ultrasonic cleaning system is first subjected to the ultrasonic cleaning chamber, which bombards the material with..."

"The wire is then dried using a custom air wipe assembly in the Drying Chamber. All water removed from the wire is siphoned back to the Rinse Fluid Holding Tank. The material then exits the system and is recoiled immediately using existing take-up equipment."

Hope this helps :)
