Spanish to English translations [PRO]

Spanish term or phrase: trampilla
It's a part of a wrappping machine. It's the part that transfers a row of bottles to another area of the machine by means of a slidding movement. It's a metal sheet or plate, pushed by a pneumatic movement. In the past I translated it as slidding plate, but I think this is not correct. Thanks in advance.

I think it sounds more like a type of opening where for example incoprrectly packed bottles are rejected. Also rejection gate might be possible.
