Los candidatos para el abordaje Xifoideo fueron similares para las revascularizaciones (r.) sin bomba con esternotomía completa, insuficiente cerebro vasculares e insuficiente renales. Las r. múltiples se efectuaron en lesiones de la descendente anterior (D.A.), diagonal (D.) y coronaria derecha (C.D.), correspondiendo a 4 combinadas de D.A. y D. y 6 combinadas de L.A.D. y C.D.. En 8 p. las r. fue de un solo vaso , la D.A.
La selección de las arterias a revascularizar fue por angiografía, pero la decisión final se determinó en el campo operatorio, luego de la visualización y palpación de los vasos y de la tolerancia a la manipulación del corazón.

saphenous graft to proximally occluded right coronary...
Explanation: "saphenous graft to proximally occluded RCA, bypass to the LAD, which presents significant stenosis at the level of the anastomosis and a filiform distal bed."
Both the stents described circumvent occlusions by providing irrigation at points distal to them. The LAD is thin (filiform) on arteriography because of too little blood reaching it, diffuse atherosclerosis or both.
For the acronyms:
CD (coronaria derecha) = RCA (right coronary artery)
DA (descendiente anterior) = LAD (left anterior descendant)*
CX = circumfleja/curcumflex
*The DA is a branch of the left coronary circulation (i.e. a *left* anterior descendant) in most cases, but there are exceptions. In English, the DA is more often referred to as the LAD. In my translation, I am assuming a patient with the most common anatomical pattern.
