This person studied "Obstetricia" at a national university in Peru for 6 years (immediately after high school), and received the degree "Licenciada en Obstetricia." There is no mention that she is a "Doctor of Obstetrics." Please see Sp/French discussion on this same word on ProZ, suggesting that it may mean "certified midwife" in Peru. There is mention on this CV that she has provided "atencion de partos." Thank you for your help!

Tambien entiendo que Obstetriz se refiere a lo que comunmente llamamos matrona o comadrona, y el equivalente que conozco es "midwife". Sería una "Licensed midwife", aparece aquí mucha información al respecto.

Y por otro lado, "salubrista", si bien lo he encontrado relacionado bastante con la salud pública (muchisimas páginas en español con este término), no siempre ha sido así, refiriéndose únicamente a alguien dedicado a un campo de la salud aunque fuera en clínica privada. Encontré esta página donde por suerte aparece el término en español y el término que han utilizado en ingles, en la pág. 9, y directamente omiten hacer mención a "public":

Se me ha olvidado añadir que por la referencia de que estudió Obstetricia en Perú es de donde saco la conclusión que se refiere a "midwife", tras leer varias páginas sobre esos estudios en ese pais.

disagree  celiacp: un "obstetrician" es un "ginecólogo/obstetra" (médico licenciado en Obstetricia y Ginecología), mientras que una Obstetriz (=matrona/partera/comadrona) es una Enfermera especializada en Obstetricia y Ginecología.
