I wonder if there is a single word that would apply to the four uses of "box" below. It evidently refers to treatment rooms for individual patients. 'Unit' wouldn't work because hospital units typically care for several patients. A 'station' are usually open; a 'bed' is open (and has already been mentioned), etc.
