I think this may be resuscitation apparatus but as I have also seen el "box de urgencias" used, I am looking for documented evidence on the internet or anecdotal evidence from translators experienced in this field. Thank you!

En efecto como dices existen dispositivos de reanimación que en inglés llaman "resuscitation box", similares a desfibriladores, pero en este caso por el contexto creo que se refiere a las pequeñas salitas o apartados donde se presta atención inmediata a los pacientes que llegan al servicio de urgencias.
Se trataría de una salita de urgencias especialmente preparada para llevar a cabo la reanimación cardiopulmonar (desfibrilador, oxígeno, etc.)
Yo me decantaría sin duda por esta última opción.

I got to run now but the UK option maybe "procedure room" (i.e., what they use in Astralia, acc. to my 2nd ref). Suggest to google the term + "UK"... :-)
The "box de reanimación" ("caja de reanimación") is a glass cubicle within the ER or the ICU that contains a bed surrounded by everything necessary to perform CPR. The room is also equipped to perform minor surgical procedures or interventions such as the insertion of an arterial line or a Swan-Ganz catheter.
Here in the US the "box de reanimación" receives different names in different hospitals, but "trauma room" and "procedure room" are both quite common.
