Spanish term or phrase: acunamiento
From an informe de urgencias, unfortunately its handwritten and deciphering the doctor's scrawl is painstaking!

This word, which i think is acunamiento appears:

"RX columna dorsolumbar, minimo acunamiento anterior de .."

I cannot find any medical meaning for this word, so any suggestions are welcome. Alternatively, if anyone thinks it might be a slightly different word, then that is also highly possible given the scribble.

Many thanks.

cradling, wedging
Explanation:
If it is acunamiento it would be cradling, if it could be acuñamiento it would mean wedging. HTS without more context.

\"acuñamiento anterior\" is a type of spine fracture, so it is anterior wedging then: spine-health.com/topics/surg/ vertebroplasty/vertebroplasty01.html.

The D followed by something small is probably a denotation of a specific dorsal vertabrae or range where the facture is observed (D 6-7, for example). I would definitely go with the anterior wedging.

Wonderful! I have checked out more about anterior wedging and that is definitely it. And I think also that the phrase is 'acunamiento anterior de d12' - which refers to the particular vertebra affected. Thanks so much for helping with this one!
