English translation:Feldene Flas® liotabs
Explanation:
Hola Ceci

It's piroxicam as "liotabs", i.e.:

Tabletas liofilizadas o liotabs. Son matrices de transporte formadas por una serie de excipientes inertes queforman la trama de sostén en la que está disperso el principio activo. En contacto con cualquier solución acuosaeste soporte se disuelve instantáneamente, liberando el principio activo que contiene.

Ceci,

I also find “Feldene Flash” for countries other than Spain, which could be just a local spin of the brand name.

Now, what I find re: “flash” in general is that it seems to be a registered name of Toronto’s Biovail Corporation. They coined the name FlashDose(R) referring to a novel drug delivery system. Biovail applied a few years ago for NDA’s of at least a couple of drugs that include the FlashDose(R) “label”:

Zolpidem (Ambien®)
http://www.biovail.com/english/Investor%20Relations/Latest%2...

Fluoxetine (Prozac®)
http://www.biovail.com/english/Investor%20Relations/Latest%2...

Re: Feldene, could Biovail have appointed Pfizer to market a \"Feldene Flash\"? Could Pfizer have bought rights to use the Flash system/name to parallel their Iberic \"Feldene Flas\"?

(You probably have more answers than the rest of us, right now...)

Feldene Flas Wafer:

http://www.global-prescriptions.net/feldene-flas-wafer.htm

Feldene Flas Wafer
Generic Name: E: PIROXICAM (peer-OX-i-kam)

Common Uses of **Feldene Flas Wafer**
This medicine is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat minor aches and pains associated with the common cold, headache, muscle aches, backache, and arthritis. It may also be used to reduce fever. This medicine works by blocking the enzyme in your body that makes prostaglandins. Decreasing prostaglandins helps to reduce pain, swelling, and fever.

Confirmed. The "Flash" was original. But some companies (not just Pfizer) hispanized the term, and locals picked it up in the new form, taking out ORIGINAL PATENTS under that name, which seems to be my case. I looked up the liotabs and the process seems one and the same. However, my outsourcer might just jump on me for anticipating what's not there...
