Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / viscosity analysis | | Spanish term or phrase: 30'509 cP | I know cP is the unit of measure for viscosity.
My question is about the numbers written with an apostrophe (translating analysis of a pharmaceutical gel by a lab in Mexico): it says 30'509.74 cP for viscosity. Would this be 30 thousand (30,509.74)? From what I can determine, that would be a reasonable figure for the viscosity of a skin gel. Thanks. |

I occasionally find I´ve over compensated and corrected when the document already contained the British usage!....

I think there should be a comma in English, or not, (seems to be either) to indicate thousands.
