Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Spanish term or phrase: medico responsable X medico encargado
Both are supposed to sign a medical report. I used to use "doctor in charge" for both situations. Now that they come together in the same document, I don't know what to do!

Thank you in advance :-)

medico responsable // medico encargado
attending physician // on-duty physician

Explanation:
The first would be the physician in charge of the case in a general sense and the second would be the physican on duty at a given time--possibly.

Suerte.
