Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / splenectomy | | Spanish term or phrase: 87% pacientes respond. | I'm not sure if the phrase '87% pacientes responden.' can be translated as '87% of patients respond' or if it would be better to translate the verb in the past tense in Englis as 87% of patients responded. It still doesn't sound much like English to me. Could we say '87% of patients responded favourably.' instead?

Explanation:
If your document is reporting the results of a research study, then I think it should be in the past tense in English. I don't see a good reason to add 'favourably' because this is going beyond what your source text says.
