I get more hits for inmersion, but when I actullay go to the page, I BELIEVE they are inverting the tubes. I just wanted to point out the posibility of the term existing (in case Micaela was doing a rush job" knowing what is it they are testing would be a great help.

I was just writing an answer along the lines of Kevin's answer.

Some additional data:

mezclar por inmersión: 9 hits
mezclar por inversión: 550 hits

mix by inversion: 26,800 hits
mix by immersion: 720, many of which seem to refer to a club mix (music) by somebody called 'Immersion'.

Bottomline: I still think it is a typo - it's just not the first time that this typo is made.

But in 10 years of working in labs I've never heard of "mixing by immersion". And a google search for "mix by immersion" gives largely results for dance music mixes, unlikes a search for "mix by inversion". I also have no idea *how* immersion mixing would work. I would love to know though!

@Benjamin. I think context is everything here, and much depends on the nature of the "muestra"..also here they are talking about a volumetric flask:)
