Imaging Department Explanation: Medical imaging is a relatively young field, and the terminology hasn't really gelled yet. Some teaching hospitals have an Imaging Technology Department... but "Imaging Department" is generally understood and accepted. Absent specific information about the department's equipment (such as X-ray gear, cranial and other CT scanning equipment, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) facilities, etc., etc.), a general term is probably best. -- Hope this helps, HC |
