I just got an email from my client, she describes the photo as a very small room with a doctor and some medical students doing an autopsy. She said this is clearly not an amphitheater, as the Spanish name suggests. I'm leaning now towards leaving the translation simply as "Autopsy". If anyone has any knowledge of what they mean by anfiteatro del hospital, I sure would appreciate it. I have about one hour before I turn this in. Thanks!
I have my doubts because when I look in google mexico, there are lots and lots of references of anfiteatro del hospital for autopsies, it makes me wonder if every hospital is a teaching hospital. Simon & Schuster also has anfiteatro (Med) as operating room or dissection room. I'm wondering if they are simply referring to the morgue.
