Spanish term or phrase: "fimicos y luéticos"

It is part of the "antecedentes patológicos personales" Dice: "refiere ser portador de pancreatitis, niega fimicos y luéticos". So far I have been able to find out that "luéticos" has to do with having syphilis. Is this referring to STDs in general? Any physician out there?

You are right in that luéticos is related to syphillis and fímico seems to be related to the lungs/respiratory tract -- seems to be related to pulmonary problems.

Hace años se creía que una mínima parte de los sifilíticos evolucionaba hacia la Parálisis General pero han cambiado los tiempos y ahora una gran mayoría de los enfermos luéticos van hacia esa enfermedad. ¿Será por las angustias que produce la vida más difícil? ¿Será por el continuo sobresalto de constantes guerras? ¿Será por la insuficiente alimentación? ¿Será por el paso sucesivo del treponema a través de varias generaciones? En fin, el hecho claro es que hay más Paralíticos Generales que hace algunas decenas de años, a pesar de la propagación de la Malaria con que se pretende combatir esta enfermedad, por lo menos en nuestro país (Mexico); a pesar de las grandes medidas profilácticas, que sí son efectivas, a pesar de los conocimientos exactos de cómo, quién y cuándo se efectúa la infección de esta enfermedad.
