There seems to be a lack of clarity in this sentence and I would appreciate some help here.

En agosto las dos aspergilosis que tuvieron....

Probably, they are refering to the second drug (Voriconazole). It is the only way I can figure it out.

Asker: My problem is that the sentence [to me] = From now on the guideline is to either use AmBisone on its own, or a combination of AmBisome and Voriconazole, but never on its own. Isn't there a contradiction here? As they have said use AmBisome on its own earlier??
