Medical - Medical (general) / urology
Spanish term or phrase: irrigacion
The term occurs in the following phrases:

My first thought was "bladder washout", but the final occurrence made me wonder whether it is actually referring to a device rather than a procedure, since "se retira...la irrigacion".

Confusion further adds because surely the cathether is the device used to perform the irrigation - so i could just say "the catheter was removed", which would imply that since the device was removed, the procedure was also terminated.

Any thoughts?!

Thanks
