Exclusion criteria...receiving non fractionated heparin (NFH) at the cut

Explanation:

during the cut-off point, they receive unfractioned heparin

Explanation:
cut-off point
valor discriminante | punto de trayectoria | punto de corte | punto de transición (frecuencias) | punto de separación | línea divisoria

Randomized, double-masked, placebo-controlled, single-center clinical trial, testing low dose continuous infusion of unfractioned heparin (UFH)

Cardiology recommend the use of intravenous unfractioned heparin

Yes, "corte" refers to the cut-off point of the study. As for Heparina No Fraccionada (HNF), the correct term is Unfractioned Heparin (UFH)

patients receiving unfractioned heparin.... at cut-off date

Explanation:

Cut-off point: valor discriminante (IFCC - DICCIONARIO INGLÉS-ESPAÑOL DE CIENCIAS DE LABORATORIO CLÍNICO

agree  David Brown: After reading the whole context on the Internet, "corte" has nothing to do with the heparin, but to the cut-off date of the cross-sectional study

Cross sectional study These are epidemiological studies which describe characteristics of populations. They are ‘cross sectional’ because data is collected at one point in time and then the relationships between characteristics are considered. Importantly, because such a study doesn’t look at time trends, it can’t establish what causes what.
