Spanish to English translations [PRO]

Encuentro en un diccionario especializado, al igual que en un enlace de este mismo foro, que TRAUMATÓLOGO puede traducirse al inglés como ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON.
Ahora bien, no sé si me equivoque al asumir que no sería necesario poner en inglés MÉDICO, ya que, y me pueden corregir estoy metiendo la pata, si es traumatólo se supone que es médico.
Ahora bien, el térmido ORTOPEDISTA, por lo que encuentro en la red, puede reexpresarse en inglés como ORTHOPAEDIST.
Mi pregunta es básicamente cómo colocar los términos sin que me quede una chapuza horripilante en inglés.
