Spanish term or phrase:zona de sistematización
This is a term from a physical and gynecological exam report. The notes say: "mamas simétricas sin *zona de sistematización* ni zonas linfoportadoras ..."
This report comes from Mexico.
I find only ONE instance of this term in a google search, which says: " ... mama izquierda zona de sistematización quística en la unión de cuadrantes superiores."
What does this rare term mean, and how do we say it in English?

Thank you BOTH Liz and Daniel for your suggestions. Since I'm not at all familiar with the terminology of breast examinations and findings, I took the words from the online example I mention above .".. zona de sistematización quística..." and compared "cystic proliferation" with "cystic nodularity" in a google search. 'Cystic proliferation' comes up far more frequently in this context ... therefore (assuming I can rely on this finding as a valid indicator) I chose 'area of proliferation'. That example is also from a Mexican document ... I wonder if this expression is used more in Mexico than in other countries. Thanks again.

28 mins confidence:
area of nodularity
Explanation: I found the following in a Mexican journal article:
And this on a Mexican oncologist's site:
Se denominan ADENOSIS, a lesiones comunes en jóvenes adultas en donde encontraron una zona indurada sin márgenes precisos, es el resultado de la proliferación de pequeñas células de tejido mamario y graso, son muy semejantes a las llamadas zonas de sistematización que palpamos en las CFQ (nodularidad) pero con márgenes menos precisos, no tienen relación con Cáncer de Mama. http://oncocenter.galeon.com/enfermedades.html
English references:
"After finding a lump in my breast, I had a mammogram and an ultrasound. The radiologist's report states, "In the upper/outer left breast there is an area of nodularity which was not demonstrated to be a cyst by ultrasound. Biopsy is suggested. RESULTS: Abnormal findings (Category IV). RECOMMENDATIONS: Biopsy." What does this mean?"
"Ultrasonography of the right breast (same patient as in Figure 1) showing an ill-defined, heterogeneous, echo-poor area of nodularity deep to the nipple, consistent with benign gynecomastia."
"Clinical examination revealed no discrete mass but there was a slight area of nodularity lateral to the left nipple, which was asymmetrical when compared ..."

The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to.
The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability.
Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together.
