Spanish term or phrase: PREG
This is from a handwritten intake report for a patient who was admitted to hospital with an ischemic stroke:

" Paciente masculino senil, despierto, activo, desorientado con (or "en"?) PREG, REN REL afásico con dificultad para deglutir y hemiparesis derecha."

This is handwritten, so it may not be PREG -- but I find nothing for PREG or RREG in my usual sources.
The next one -- REN -- I would say is "regular estado nutricional" (from tremedica); the third one appears to be REL but I'm not sure from the handwriting ... ahh! as I write this I see that it's really REH -- regular estado de hidratación -- well hydrated.

( See post #4 in http://forum.wordreference.com/showthread.php?t=585736)

That leaves 'PREG'. If it said REG this would be 'Regular Estado General' ... but we have that 'P' (maybe 'R') at the front. I appreciate your suggestions/help with this one!

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Liz ... brief comment on "regular": I think it can often simply be translated as "normal". And as Emma says, I've also sometimes seen it in Spanish as -- I would say -- less than, or some degree lower than, "good". Thanks again for the good detective work.

agree  Emma Goldsmith: It's funny that in Spanish "regular" often means "not good". But in this context (preceding the noun) you're right, it means "fair" or "normal"
