Vía posterior: difícil ejecución, riesgo de daño de paquete vasculonervioso poplíteo, poco empleada (cuando existe quiste sinovial posterior), decúbito prono, rodilla en ligera flexión (15-20º), punción por fuera de los tendones semitendionoso y semimembranoso, en la parte inferior del hueco poplíteo, en dirección al **canal intercondíleo inferior**.

Explanation:
I think the use of the word 'inferior' is pleonastic in this case, better leave it out.

Example sentence(s):
  • The inferior, oblong surfaces of the condyles are separated by the intercondylar fossa which houses the cruciate ligaments.
  • The inferior end of the femur consists of two condyles, which are continuous anteriorly but separated inferiorly and posteriorly by the intercondylar fossa.
