El 70% de las lesiones bucales se localizan en mucosa del carrillo, fundamentalmente en el tercio posterior (mucosa yugal), el 9% en lengua y paladar y en orden decreciente mucosa del labio, alveolar, encías y suelo de la boca (2).

Estrictamente, yugal sería \'jugal\' en inglés pero parece que se usa más \'buccal\'.
