Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Military / Defense / Peruvian Air Force acronym on clinical report
Spanish term or phrase: N.S.A.
Hi,

I am hoping I have selected the right fields for this question but I won't know until I get the answer!
I have a clinical report (Malignancy / Neoplasm) with a number of pages stamped and signed by various doctors from the Peruvian Air Force (FAP).

e.g. "E.C. FAP Pathologist
NANCY ROSAS MARROQUIN
NSA : 707200 RNE: 11464 CMP: 25821"

NSA may stand for National Security Agency but it could also be XX XX Number.

Please help!

Air Force Identity Number
Explanation:
It stands for Número de Serie Aeronáutica: "Aeronautical Series Number" if you want to be literal, but that would sound pretty strange in English, I think, and what it amounts to is a personal identity number for Peruvian Air Force Personnel, so I'd call it simply "Air Force Identity Number".

"1.- El día nueve de septiembre en horas de la tarde, en las instalaciones del Grupo Aéreo Nº 2 (Vítor – Arequipa), bajo circunstancias que son materia de investigación, el Avionero FAP Florencio CONDORI PAUCARA, de 19 años, identificado con Número de Serie Aeronáutico (NSA) T -175274 sufrió una contusión en el lado derecho del cráneo."

(Sorry: Número de Serie Aeronáutico, not Aeronáutica; the number is aeronautical, not the series.)

-> Thanks clearly the idea: "serial number" would perhaps be the right wording, now that you mention it! :) (Thanks, by the way)
